The Green Valley Recreation and Park District Board will be attending the Contra Costa LAFCO Meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 1:30 PM.  Members of the community encouraged to attend to show support for the Green Valley Pool.  The location is the Board of Supervisors Chambers 651 Pine Street, 1st Floor in Martinez.

The Green Valley Pool provides a fun and safe environment where families can spend carefree time together during the summer. Our ‘community pool’ is a place where parents come to socialize, relax and cool off, and where children will find playmates from school and the surrounding neighborhoods.

We strive to teach our children confidence and essential water safety skills through supportive swim lessons and our non-competitive swim team, the Sharks. Families wishing to join should go to our Membership page for further information.
