Harriet Plummer Aquatic School would like to welcome Green Valley Pool Members to our program. We are very excited to bring our swim program to your facility for the 2010 swim season. We are looking forward to meeting everyone and having a fun and rewarding summer of learning how to swim and improving your swimming. We are offering priority registration to Green Valley Members starting February 16th. Open scheduling for non-members will begin March 1st. We anticipate a busy summer so make sure to book early! Additionally, the $50 registration fee is waived for Green Valley Pool members.

Harriet Plummer Aquatic School (HPAS) will be offering 2 four week swim team sessions at $150.00 per session and payment is due at time of enrollment. These sessions will be taught by Harriet Plummer herself as well as two instructors assisting students in the water. This is a non-competitive swim program with an emphasis on improving skill in a positive, engaging, fun atmosphere but in a structured manner. Individual attention will be given to each student. After each 4 week session we will have a swim meet amongst GVP students. Students can choose either session or both. Two groups will be offered for both sessions and will be divided as follows:

GROUP 1
8:30 - 9:00
Limited to 10 students 8 years of age and up. The requirements for this group include knowledge of ALL four strokes. Students will work on swimming legally and technically all four strokes, starts, turns, and endurance.

GROUP 2
9:05 - 9:35
Limited to 10 students 8 years of age and under. The requirements for this group include knowledge of freestyle while safely swimming 50 feet independently and can swim 20 feet kicking on their back independently. Students will work on all four competitive strokes, racing dive, and backstroke start.

Session I:
June 15th through July 8th
(Tues, Wed, and Thurs)
End of Session Swim Meet will Saturday, July 10th (time is TBA)

Session II:
July 13th through August 5th
(Tues, Wed, and Thurs)
End of Session Swim Meet will be Saturday, August 7th (time is TBA)

SCHEDULING:
To reserve your swim team and/or private session you must call HPAS. Payment is made by a Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover. There are absolutely no cancellations, changes, or make ups. Feel free to call HPAS with any questions or concerns 925-943-7331.
